Application

Number of participanta is limited to 40 students due to room capacity, therefore the registration process will be a two steps process:

  • Application by June 4, 2025 5 pm CET
  • Confirmation sent by June 11, 2025
  • Final registration by June 16, 12 (noon) CET

Registration includes light lunch and coffee breaks for the whole duration of the school plus participation in the social activities. All other expenses will be the responsibility of student participants.

Student Applications for IEEE ComSoc Members

Participation in this event is available for a limited number of ComSoc Student Members. Program material is geared towards PhD students.  Membership is not required in order to apply, however if your application is accepted, you will need to become a ComSoc Student Member in order to register and attend the event under ComSoc sponsorship.

Applications are now being accepted through 23 May 2025. Students will be notified of application decisions by 30 May 2025 via email. If your application is accepted, you will be sent a link to register for the event. You will need to have active ComSoc Student Membership at that time in order to register.

    Requirements

    In addition to applicant quality, the Organizing Committee will consider a number of features including: the coherence of the motivation with the aim and scope of the school, the potential benefit for the student’s research, the timeliness for the development of the student’s career. Preference will be given to applicants not participating onsite in the previous edition (2022) of the school.

    The school is especially addressed to doctoral students and young postdoctoral scholars. A very limited number of senior students (e.g., assistant/associate/full professors) can be admitted, if they provide strong and convincing motivation in their application letter.
